Another Good Week!

11-08 – 08 – Subterranean Cot Space
This week, we had Bob sr. on the job. In fact, Bob is so on the job that we start our day a little earlier. Bob likes things done right. He gets his ducks in a row early in the day and makes sure work is up to snuff. All you have to do is talk to Bob and you immediately know everything will be okay.
This week, Bob oversaw the pouring of our basement and garage floors, the installation of heating and cooling ducts and the tedious installation of plumbing piping and vents.
Our hero Steve spent Monday re-grading the lot and tidying up. A day in our clay patch inspired Steve to head to Key West, where he’ll entertain his bride, Lisa, and the local boating officiados. The Little General was disappointed not to be invited, but she took it well.
Work is going so well that the Little General was noticeably absent this week. However, once she saw the basement floor, her demeanor changed a bit. An immediate call went out to her favorite handyman who is arriving Saturday to lay out her 30 foot basement cedar closet and the author’s ten foot subterranean cot space. Hmmm…
